Friends & Lovers

A spin-off from the smash hit The Ski Trip (MTV's LOGO), this TV series follows the developing relationship of Omar (John Rankin) and Corey (Maurice Jamal). After the rocky start they had in the original film,the series picks up a little more than a year later, which is 7 years in gay time, so the boys have developed an “itch”. They decide to pack up and move to Los Angeles where among other things they are considering getting married.

In Los Angeles, they are reunited with

original film faves Terry (Daren Fleming), whose “fabulosity” seems to be fading as he gets older and Latina lesbian sex pot Nikki (Cassandra Cruz), who’s still in search of a good date.

As usual our group of four misfits finds themselves swimming in drama filled situations that bring big laughs. It’s clear that Corey still has secrets to hide; as usual Omar seem s oblivious to what’s happening around him;

Friends and Lovers introduces an eclectic group of Angelinos’ whose lives intertwine and complicate life for our friends:

• Jayson, the hot body with a heart of gold (Ben Patterson of Miami CSI, Noah's Arc) but his chiseled looks and sexy smile may hide a secret that threatens the safety of the group;
• Sexy NBA Player Montell Jones (stage and recording star Terrell Carter) seems to have everything a pro athlete is supposed to: looks, money and an outrageous gold digging
• outrageous gold-digging girlfriend Lisa (Saaphyri of Flava of Love, Charm School). But with Lisa there is a lot more than meets the eye. She has a secret connection with Corey and another secret that affects, him, Montell and everyone in her life.
• Armond (Ray Cunningham from BET’s College Hill) whose outrageous antics keep Corey on his toes;
• Lucky (Kairon John of Transformers 2; Noah's Arc) is the dim-witted next-door neighbor gym hound who develops a very “special friendship” Omar;
• Gabriel (newcomer Lucky Conner) who has just moved to befriends Corey, but there’s more than meets the eye.

Rounding out the stellar cast is

• Brandon DeShazer as the villain and sharp-tounged DeSean,
• Henry Milton Chu as Daniel who’s new to being out, being in love and being in trouble.
• And hip-hop start Melange Savonne as London, the lost girl in love.

With the temptations of Hollywood all around them, the lure of greener pastures and the seduction of Sunset Strip Friends and Lovers is a sexy, tumultuously hilarious merry-go-round of excitement and drama in the City of Angels.
